Biljana Đurđević (Belgrade, Serbia, 1973) is an artist whose practice primarily involves painting and animation works. Đurđević holds an MA from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia, and a DFA from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. She was also a guest lecturer at Parsons the New School for Design in New York from 2010 to 2011.
While in earlier years Đurđević concentrated mainly on painting, she has recently begun developing her large-scale paintings into stop-motion animations. In 2020. she published a graphic novel based on her recent works from the Instrument of Activity cycle.

Her selected group exhibitions include 30th Nadežda Petrović Memorial, Art Gallery “Nadežda Petrović”, Čačak, Serbia (2022); Salon of the Belgrade City Museum (2022); Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade (2020); October Salon (2009, 2016); Frissiras Museum, Athens (2015); The Essl Museum, Klosterneuburg (2013) Austrian Cultural Forum, New York (2010); Haugar Art Museum, Oslo (2010); Musée d’art moderne et contemporain, Saint-Étienne Métropole (2008), and 15th Biennale of Sydney (2006).
