Caravan

Artistic Association Caravan was founded in 2021 in the Roma settlement of Bair in Valjevo. Artists Tijana and Dragana Marić turned their family home into the Caravan Cultural Centre. This is where artists mix, create, and transfer their knowledge and experiences through creative workshops with children, youth, and adults. They deal with the community.
Projects of the AA Caravan are managed by a team of artists, professors, and education professionals, each with their extensive professional experience, which facilitates cooperation with artists and cultural institutions from Serbia and abroad.
The Caravan artists who participate in the 2024 October Salon include the following Valjevo residents: Tijana Marić, visual artist (FFA, Belgrade; FFA, Cetinje; The Aix-en-Provence School of Art, Aix-en-Provence, and École Supérieure d’Art et de Design, Toulon), Dragan Marić, painter (FFA, Belgrade), Vukašin Nikitović, director and actor (FDA, Belgrade), Uroš Krivokapić, camera and sound design (FDA, Belgrade), and Konstantin Mitić, camera (Belgrade Polytechnic).
