Milica Ružičić (Belgrade, 1979) lives and works in Belgrade, Serbia. Engaged in conceptual, critical, often interactive art, working with a variety of media. She has been a member of the Governing board of The Association of Fine Artists Serbia since 2019. In 2016, she received her DA degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where she got her postgraduate (2008) and bachelor (2005) degrees. Milica teaches at the BAPUSS Academy since 2009. In 2019 she received the title of Professor of Professional Studies in the field of art. She is the winner of the “Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos” Award for 2004 and the Golden Palette at the annual Spring exhibition in Čačak for 2015.
She presented in fifteen solo exhibitions (Belgrade, Kragujevac, Bor, Subotica, Zagreb, Vienna, and Sopot) and over ninety group exhibitions (Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, USA and Japan). Her most recent exhibitions include Rez – linija – otisak (Cut – line – print), Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade (2023); Grad: mesto identiteta (City: place of identity), Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade (2023); rafinerijamanastir (The Monastery Refinery), 20th Biennale of Art, Pančevo (2022); O fabrikama i radnicima (About factories and workers), Museum of Yugoslavia, Belgrade (2022), and Among women, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburg, and Bronx River Art Center, New York (2021/22).
