Darinka Pop-Mitić (Belgrade, 1975) lives and works in Belgrade. She studied political sciences, while she received her MFA in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She has published articles in dailies, monthly and professional magazines and publications. She is a member of the ULUS and AICA associations. She has exhibited her works in many exhibitions, including Životni ciklus zvezde (Star’s Life Cycle), ULUS Gallery, Belgrade (2023); group exhibition Radna žena (Working Woman), CZKD, Belgrade (2023); Didara, Autostrada Biennale, Prizren (2023), and Which Side are you on? On Solidarity, National Opera and Ballet, Skopje (2022).
She received significant awards: October Salon Award (2008, 2009), ULUS Gold Award for Expanded Media (2021), as well as the collective ULUS Spring Exhibition award (2022).
