Nikola Dimitrović (Belgrade, 1990) completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2019. He won the award for the Best Film in the Experimental Film selection at the Martovski Festival in Belgrade, 2024. His short films were shown within the exhibition Is Queer political?, Queer Museum, Vienna (2024) and Podium, New Cinema Zvezda, U10, Belgrade (2023). Among realised solo and group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad, he highlights: Voix unique, Centre Culturel de Serbie, Paris (2024); The favored, Subotica (2023); (NE)Sporazum, Museum of contemporary art, Sarajevo (2021); 1st Pula Open Drawing Biennale, Pula (2021); Triennial of drawings and small plastics, Belgrade (2021); Miniatures of Sirmium, Sremska Mitrovica (2021); Summer Vibes: In Corpore Sano, November Gallery, Belgrade (2021); Stone in Art and Architecture, Belgrade (2019); Masterpieces, U10, Belgrade (2019); InterAction, Belgrade (2018); Kunst im dialog, Landshut (2018). He curated the group exhibition Trilogy: Time; Space; Identity (October, November, December) at the Magacin Cultural Center, Belgrade (2019). His works are presented in collections (Museum of Srem, Belgrade City Library). He is active in the local and regional art scene. Nikola Dimitrović currently lives and works in between Belgrade and Istanbul.
