Dragoljub Raša Todosijević

Dragoljub Raša Todosijević (1945) graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Since 1967, he has exhibited at solo and group exhibitions in our country and abroad. His means of expression include installations, performance, video, paintings, sculptures – as objects made of different, clashing organic and non-organic materials. The entire current Todosijević’s artistic activities features honest critical attitude towards reality, provocative and sometimes aggressive behavior, flirting with sadism, the elements that are recognizable and depict one of its important derivative of performance in the late seventies. One of the main protagonists of conceptual artduring seventies in Yugoslavia and Belgrade, Todosijević work still provokes the same intensity, provoking questioning the structure and function of art and society as a whole. He lives and works in Belgrade.
